120 Engine

In compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2009, all of the products pictured on this web site are intended for use only by riders over the age of 12 years. Of course, it has always been our contention that it should be the parent's discretion as to what type or size of machine their child should be riding based on the child's riding ability. Always wear appropriate safety gear and enroll your child in an approved safety class. Remember, Safe Riding is Fun Riding.

120 Engine Performance Parts

Stock 120 sleds are governed down to only about 7mph. If your little driver is old enough and ready for more speed or is going racing, then you need to get the power up. While there are some different ways to go about this, the best place to start is with these Power-UP Intake Engine Kits.

POLARIS XCR XC 120 KIT        SKI-DOO MINI-Z KIT        ARCTIC CAT 120 KIT

The factories have these little motors governed way down with a weak spring on the carburetor governor linkage that cuts in real early just as the engine starts to rev out. Along with jetting that is has been set overly rich on the safe side, the stock air box is also quite restrictive as well. These intake kits include a new heavier governor spring with the correct tension, a machined aluminum velocity stack for maximum airflow and a really slick adjustable carb jet which allows you to dial the jetting in easily with just a turn of a knob. These Power-UP  kits have been thoroughly dyno and race tested with very impressive results. Once installed, the motor will rev about 2000 rpm higher with the new spring and you can now adjust the air fuel mixture for maximum hp & rpm. The new power increase will allow it also pull some taller gearing for even more speed ; See our clutches and gearing kits.
